With three state-of-the-art manufacturing plants, robust global and domestic sales and marketing set up, Mr. Agarwal leads a workforce of over 5,000 people. Under his leadership, Suryalakshmi Cotton has become a leader in the premium yarn category and diversified into denim manufacturing and garmenting to cover the entire textile value chain. The company has strengthened its exports by venturing into new geographies, supplying fabrics to over 29 countries across the globe.

After graduating from the University of Nagpur in 1994, Mr. Agarwal joined Suryalakshmi Cotton as a Management Trainee to learn the ropes of the textile industry. Under the guidance and mentorship of the Chairman and founder of the company Mr. L. N. Agarwal, Mr. Agarwal handled various functions of the company including international marketing, domestic sales, production and engineering. With a keen eye on operational efficiency, his strategic insights led the company to set up a coal-based captive power plant in 2012-13 that helped reduce the cost of power and dependence on energy from external sources.

Over the past decade, Mr. Agarwal along with his professional team have worked relentlessly to position Suryalakshmi Cotton as a premium and niche yarn and denim manufacturer for the world’s leading fashion brands. He has travelled extensively to experience front-end design and fashion and customer trends in Europe, Asia and America and understand backend manufacturing best practices.

R. L. Narayana is the Vice President at Suryalakshmi Cotton. He heads the operations of the company’s yarn division at Amanagallu in Telangana and is responsible for developing the business strategy in line with the evolving needs of the industry. His technological acumen in spinning along with a deep understanding of the regional nuances and global best-practices give the company a competitive edge. His client-centric approach and ability to forge and maintain excellent relations with customers has earned Suryalakshmi Cotton a formidable reputation among clients.

Mr. Narayana joined Suryalakshmi Cotton in 1993, bringing with him over 13 years of industry experience. He was earlier associated with various leading textile mills including Sarvaraya Textiles, Dawanagere Textiles, Kothari Mills and Vijaya SPG Mills. With a cumulative experience of over 35 years in the cotton spinning industry, Mr. Narayana brings unparalleled expertise to the organization.

He has completed a diploma in Textiles Technology from MBTS (Maddineni Bala Triura Sundari Government Polytechnic), Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

Ms. Munmun Baid is an Associate Member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (Membership No. A40189) and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. She possesses extensive experience in corporate secretarial, legal and compliance functions, with expertise spanning listed, unlisted and private companies.

Sri Santosh Kumar Agarwal is an Associate Chartered Accountant with a professional experience of more than 36 years in Direct & Indirect Taxes, Financial Reporting & Analysis, Budgeting, Statutory Audits, Internal Controls, Statutory Compliance, etc. He has led various leadership positions with companies like Century Textiles & Industries Ltd., JK Paper Ltd., Grasim Industries Ltd.

He has over 30 years of experience in the fields of Finance, Accounts, and Secretarial Functions and worked in several manufacturing industries.

Mr.Siddhant Sharma, aged 56 years, B.Tech (Textiles) as Chief Executive Officer (Denim Division).

Mr.Siddhant Sharma has about 31 years of experience in denim manufacturing operations in several leading companies like Raymond, Arvind, ETCO denim, etc.

Mr. Sreebhasyam Vikhanasa Murthy, 59, Diploma in Textile Technology is the Chief Operating Officer of Amravati Unit. Mr. S. V. Murthy has about 39 years of experience in project execution and successfully running the spinning units through his previous assignments.
